Aim: looking at household chemicals.

Equipment:

1. Common name: surf/chemical name: sodium chloride.

2.  Common name: white vinegar/chemical name: sodium chloride .

3. Common name: baking soda/chemical name: sodium hydrogen carbonate.

4. Common name: baking powder/chemical name: hydrogen carbonate.

5. Common name : cleaner /chemical name: sodium hydroxide.

6. Common name: detergent/chemical name: carboxylic.

7. Common name: lemonade/chemical name: citric acid.

8. Common name: sugar/chemical name hydroximethyl.

9. Common name: citric acid/chemical name: hydroxypropane.

Chemical names: Fizzy, reaction, mixture, foam.

    Your list looks very organized, but you only have 9/10 household chemicals listed. Can you go back and review your notes and find which one is missing?
