Weather Art

            Walt use crayon and dye to show movement and                                         ripples in a Weather feature. 
 For art we have been making weather art. First we put white crayon lines with puddles. then we painted The background blue and Dark blue. when the color Dried we put our names on it and 
hung it up.

Over the last few weeks during Literacy we have been learning about Antarctica we visited the Antarctic        Center and read lots of information about Antarctica I made a food chain Information report about                                                     Antarctica.

I have been learning about how penguins have adapted to their environment and survive in Antarctica.

The penguins they Eating seafood like krill and squid and their main diet is fish. penguins catching food. The penguin is flightless bird
They can’t fly because they don't have any wings they have only flippers to catch their food they are
diving to the sea and they can swim to the water and they have flippers on their feet. All penguin have
a short neck a large head and elongated body.
Baby penguin have black and white fur and some penguin. Penguin
Like very very cold weather that the reason why they are not freezing
When they swim in underwater. The largest penguin and tallest penguin is emperor the emperor is like 7 years old person that how tall
Is emperor or it might be taller to other people. think Penguins are Amazing.

Penguin Art

Walt use paint to create the effect of feathers. 
We have been learning about Antarctica. 
So we painted a penguin. 
First we sketched the penguin bit by bit. 
Then we painted black feathers. 
After that we painted the yellow and orange feathers. 
Finally we painted the eye and filled the rest of the body white.
